Garners Field Maintenance Day – Saturday 12th April 2025

We need help.
To get Garners Field ready for the Summer Season and Family Camp we need help with the following jobs; can you help? Do you have equipment that could help(i.e.. strimmer’s) ?
- Install projector and construct a shelf in the loft for internet/alarm bits.
- Weed between all new planted bushes.
- Trim all current bushes.
- Trim all below head hight tree branches.
- Trim along the river bank
- Litter pick around track and field trees
- Pick up all fallen branches from around the edges of the site.
- Blow all the way along the entrance road.
- Cut up wood for wood piles.
- Install the extra seating around the camp fire with newly donated trees.
- Rake all mole hills.
- Mow and strim around all trees and fence lines.
- Tidy up and strim around the archery nets.
- Fill in all the rabbit foraging holes.
- Clean out all gutters and associated drains
- Weed between slabs.
- Repair (or remove) the test kayak entry ramp.
- Mowing field.
If you can help even if it’s an hour please come between 9am until 4pm Saturday 12th April 2025, please let me know – refreshments available all day and lunch around 12:30.
Due the use of machinery we would prefer no children on site as they would need to be closely supervised. Please contact me if you would like to discuss.
